The tool allows a student to explore how isotopes can be used as indicators of paleoclimate and reconstruct the paleoclimate using data from the Vostok ice core.
As a teacher of high school or undergraduate Chemistry, you can use this set of computer-based tools when teaching Atomic Number, Atomic Mass, Isotopes and Isotopic Ratios, the use of isotopic ratios to calculate temperature, and the use of isotopic composition to recreate past temperatures and climate.
